Sky City Mall is entirely renovating its lighting system, switching to the latest generation of Philips Lighting LED luminaries, supplied by Bronlight. The renovation of existing lighting (luminescent and mhl lamps) with diode fixtures has started in the beginning of February 2018 and the repairing activities are taking place without closing the trade center or disturbing its visitors.
The number of luminaries in the project is over 1800 pcs, with 891 pcs of them are for surface mounting, over 500 are of the type diode downlights, 90 pcs are high-bays, over 200 pcs are the LED tubes, 24 are the street lamps and 120 are the luminaries for the underground parking. Due to high energy efficiency of the new fixtures, the annual electricity consumption is going to be reduced with over 70% which will impact the operative costs. The investment return is 15-months calculated.
Bronlight created the lighting project, analysis of the existing luminescent and metal halogen lighting, and comparative analyses on fixtures type. The renewal of Sky City Mall is planned to be finished in March 2018.
