Lighting design for Mercedes-Benz Boutique – Concept Store in Sofia Ring Mall
On December 5, 2019, Silver Star, the official importer of Mercedes-Benz for Bulgaria, presented at Sofia Ring Mall a unique concept for the market, combining premium cars and a rich lifestyle collection of accessories in one place. The new location features its own style and modern design. The project of the general distributor of the brand in Bulgaria aims to provide a different experience for the lovers of the German brand near their everyday life.
The project uses luminaires of a leading company in the production of LED luminaires – SIGNIFY (formerly known as PHILIPS LIGHTING), with a high color rendering index CRI> 90. The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is a quantitative measure of the ability of a light source to detect the correct colors of different objects compared to their illumination with an ideal or natural light source.
The lighting control system is based on the DALI protocol, which uses interconnected DALI-RGB controllers, relays and DALI power units, all of which operate on the signals supplied by the LCD TOUCH Display. The luminaires are grouped into 16 groups, which can be controlled individually depending on the required illumination level and color selection of the RGB modules.
Main lighting – divided by types of luminaires into 10 groups. Each group can individually switch on, decrease / increase and stop the light intensity. In this way, the necessary adjustments in the light intensity can be made at any time so that every exhibit can become the focus of the event.
Accent lighting – divided by modules of cabinets, total 6 groups.
LCD Display can very easily change the color of the light / RGB /, both on the selected module and all together. The user can choose between 256 thousand colors and thus all color claims would be satisfied. This makes LCD PANEL control unique and easy.
In the project you can also enjoy the best in modern aesthetics in lighting – a slim magnetic profile 48V Pista, Modular Lighting Instruments, as well as Medard, a miniature LED projector with a clear cylindrical shape and saturated colors
